LOL! We've got personal TVs at my gym. If it's cardio, lately it's been the Tour de France. Makes it so easy to get through the interval while watching those guys suffer on the mountains.

If it's weights and at home I read a book (or watch TV) between sets. Silly, yes, but I know I can read the next chapter if I finish my sets.

I workout my best to rap music...even though I'm totally white to the extreme haha. 50 cent, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Kidrock...cliche, I know, but for weight lifting or running it amps me up!

Beatles
lots of metal (for when you're feeling aggressive!)
dancey stuff (like deadmau5)
swing/big band - such as Frank Sinatra
ska (Reel Big Fish is a top choice for me)
